More than two decades after the original production, the filmmakers behind The Streetsweeper have returned to San Diego to continue the journey.
Original footage is being brought together with newly shot material from the same streets, connecting the city captured in the film with San Diego in 2026.
At the center of the story is Paul Michael as Enzo, in a film about family, sacrifice, homelessness and the people society too often passes by.
The filmmakers’ return raises the question at the heart of the campaign: Has anything really changed?
